Japfa to recap on raising color birds with contract growing farms in the Central Highlands region

More than 100 farming households in 5 provinces of the Central Highlands participated in the CGF Color Year End Party in Buon Ma Thuot City on January 7. It is an activity to connect business partners and share the livestock expansion orientation in 2023.

 


At the event, Mr. Le Thanh Diep - Color Harvest Control Senior Manager shared Japfa's development strategy in the new year. Accordingly, the company plans to supply more than 45 million commercial chickens to the market and develop a system of PS farms with a scale of 100 -120,000 chickens. Specially, the company will put into operation a veterinary laboratory and diagnostics clinic in Dak Lak to prevent diseases quickly and effectively for farms in the province and the Central Highlands.

 


At the ceremony, Mr. Bui Sy Dai, a farming household in Krong Nang district, Dak Lak province, said that he has been contract-based partnerships with Japfa since 2021 with a scale of 35,000 birds. “Cooperate raising chickens with Japfa, I have been provided with breeding stock, animal feed, technical support, disease prevention and product consumption. Moreover, Dak Lak hatchery went into operation helps to save time in transporting chicks to farms in the area”, Mr. Dai emphasized.

 


Japfa Vietnam has developed an integrated chicken farming model in the Central Highlands since 2020 with the first farms in Dak Lak, Gia Lai, then expanding to Dak Nong, Kon Tum and Lam Dong. Up to now, the company has cooperated with more than 150 farming households, reaching an average of 10 million commercial chickens per year in the Central Highlands.
