On the morning of July 18th, the business forum with the theme "Expanding Business opportunity Vietnam – Indonesia to promote ASEAN to be the Epicentrum of Growth" took place at the People's Committee of Thu Duc City.

As food security is one of the four priorities of corporation of ASEAN 2023, the company was chosen as the representative of Indonesian businesses in Vietnam to share the experience on this topic at the conference. Mr. Arif Widjaja, General Director of Japfa Vietnam, commented, "Vietnam's livestock industry is developing rapidly, bringing opportunities for investors and foreign businesses. In 2022, surpassing global challenges, Vietnam's total livestock production was valued at around $21 billion, a 5-6% increase compared to the same period in 2021." In particular, he also provided updates on the trends in high-tech agriculture and investment in research and development of superior breeds to strive for sustainable development in the future.

At the conference, speakers and experts from various fields shared information about the future development direction of ASEAN. Businesses engaged in discussions on various topics such as digital transformation in management, investment expansion opportunities in the region, and future university connections between the two countries.
